We would begin the program with authentic folk, then the band would play fusion jazz and later would be my entry,” said Ila, who is famous for her super hit playback singing for A R Rahman composed internationally acclaimed Slumdog Millionaire.
Louis Banks’s son Jino Banks – a jazz guitarist is also part of the 11-artist Rani and rowdy rajas band. “Our team is set to present first-of-its-kind funky folk music performance at the event,” said Ila, who recently sang the promotional song Halla Bol for the Rajasthan Royals team in the IPL which became an instant hit.
